Hoping for Clarity

I have talked to Marilyn and Kateri and still am unclear about the Wiki. They have more done than me. I can't seem to get my Wiki set up. I keep looking at the directions we received but when I get errors and can't figure out what has gone wrong. I had hoped to help Lynnette but where I am now, I would not be much help! We have a session with Ronlyn after the break. I have high expectations that I will know better what's going on after the session.

Playing with Wikis

I've been having fun updating my wiki.... i have very little actual information yet but i feel much more comfortable with the controls.

I've picked out a beautiful color scheme and created banners for the different work topics. I can't wait to get my feet wet with more information and different hardware. I'll let you know how it goes.

Sharing Technology with Educators Program

We had our first STEP meeting today. I'm pretty excitted about all the cool stuff we will get to learn and the new toys we will get to play with. I'm not really sure how all this hardware and software is going to work for my students. I have very young students with delays and disabilities so I'm not expected everything to apply. Today we played a game using power point ot talk about the strengths we might bring to our STEP team and how we can work togther. Then we tried to look at the blogging but I could log in. When we looked at the wikis I was worried that we were going to have to do some HTML code. Which I am claiming to be allergic to!

Off and Running

We had our first STEP training today at Ammendale. Unfortunately I had to leave when they got to the part I really needed to hear. We spent the morning going over the agreement and the Technology Standards. The afternoon was when we would have set up the Wiki and talked about Blogging. I am pretty stressed that I did not hear all of the information. I will see if the other members can help me out. Overall I am excited about STEP. I am so happy that I will learn about Wikis and Blogs and Podcasting. I have been ashamed to admit I don't know about these topics!
